With the start of the new motorsport season just around the corner, what better way to banish those winter blues than a visit to Autosport International? Once again the BRSCC’s popular championship for Mk3 Mazda MX-5s will have a strong presence at the show, which opens at the NEC on Thursday (January 11).

This year you will find us on the prestigious BRSCC stand in Hall 7 for the four-day event.  Whether it’s a chance to catch up with friends and rivals from years gone by, or to sign up for the upcoming season, the event is a great opportunity for drivers old and new to discuss all things MX-5 SuperCup and discover more about the recently unveiled MX-5 Super Series.

Please come and say hello to championship co-ordinator Mandy Andrew and experienced MX-5 racers and car builders Paul Sheard and Ray Worley.

The enthusiastic trio, along with a whole host of BRSCC personnel will be on hand to answer any questions you may have regarding either race series. From regulation and car construction advice, to the availability of race-ready racers to purchase or hire, our friendly and knowledgeable team can help you join the grid.

There will also be the chance to check out the distinctive Clapham North liveried race car of series sponsor George Grant.

With the launch of the MX-5 Super Series, the BRSCC is now offering two ways for Mk3 MX-5 racers to get on the grid in 2018. The established SuperCup remains popular and will support the high-profile TCR UK Championship, kicking off at Silverstone in the end of March. While the new Super Series will be sharing meetings with the Club’s hugely successful Mk1 MX-5 Championship which opens for business a week earlier at Brands Hatch.

Build specification is identical across both Mk3 series, allowing competitors an unrivalled choice of 16 triple-header race meetings, taking in the pick of the UK’s circuits.

2017 was undoubtedly an epic year for the MX-5 SuperCup and with the introduction of the Super Series 2018 is shaping up to be even better. Make sure you visit stand 7050 to find out what one of UK motorsport’s true success stories can offer you.
