At the annual BRSCC Mazda MX-5 Night of Champions, the provisional calendar of events for the 2020 season was unveiled to all drivers and team personnel in attendance, giving them an insight on the venues and dates the SuperCup would be racing on throughout.

Before the calendar was announced on the night, it was also confirmed that the MX-5 SuperCup and MX-5 Super Series would merge back together again for 2020, ensuring that all Mk3 MX-5s would be racing on the same grid as they had been up until the end of 2017. Alongside this, it was also confirmed that the SuperCup would once again share the same calendar as their counterparts in the MX-5 Championship, making sure that all of the BRSCC's Mazda drivers would be competing in one single paddock instead of being separated as they had done over the last two years.

The 2020 season will start at the Silverstone circuit on the National layout on March 21/22, before an early break through April that precedes the second meeting at Snetterton in Norfolk on the 300 configuration on May 2/3. Brands Hatch's Indy circuit features next just a couple of weeks later on May 16/17, followed by the annual one day thrash on the Oulton Park International circuit on June 6.

The second half of the season begins with a return to Croft, particularly for the Mk1s as they haven't race at the North Yorkshire venue for a couple of years and will do so on June 27/28. A summer break sees the drivers with the whole of July to themselves before the run to the end of the campaign begins, starting with the Donington Park National circuit on August 1/2. A trip to the coast of Wales comes next with the Anglesey International layout inviting drivers on August 22/23, before an earlier than usual final weekend sees the teams and drivers bookend the season with a second trip to Silverstone, this time on the National circuit on September 12/13.

Mark the dates in your diaries and we'll see you on track next year!
