The MX-5 SuperCup moves on to leafy Cadwell...

Just three weeks after the Snetterton meeting and the BRSCC MX-5 SuperCup moves onto Cadwell Park as the championship passes the midpoint in the season. Damp and changeable conditions last time out at Snetterton gave Alan Henderson the opportunity to become the first double race winner of the 2015 season, but he didn’t have it easy as second in the points driver Jonathan Clements made Henderson work for the second win.

Cadwell Park in contrast to the fast open airfield circuit of Snetterton is a classic parkland circuit, narrow and undulating, with corners coming in quick succession offering a real test for the drivers. The challenge of Cadwell has enticed a capacity grid of cars (plus reserves!) to the Lincolnshire circuit and this should make a spectacular site for those spectating.

Henderson will once again be the man to beat as he continues to try to firm up his lead at the top of the points table but with such a large grid and the depth of talent in the field, it is unlikely to be easy for him. Both Simon Goddard and Liam Murphy have been close to the top step of the podium this year and will no doubt pose a strong challenge in addition to ever improving drivers such as George Line and John Munro.

Drivers representative Ray Worley will make a racing return to the scene of his 2014 season ending accident and we look forward to a weekend of safe, clean racing for all involved and fingers crossed, fine weather.
